They can be molded into various shapes and sizes for diverse uses, such as bottles, containers, or even medical devices. Additionally, the cost-effective production and processing of plastics are relatively inexpensive compared to other materials. Plastics do not rust or corrode, making them suitable for long-term use in harsh environments. Speaking about the advantages of plastic, they are impermeable to water, making them ideal for use in packaging. However, most plastics take hundreds of years to decompose, contributing to long-term environmental pollution and being harmful to wildlife, marine life, and animals that ingest or become entangled.
