The government first of all should intervene when the social media algorithms are explicitly selecting videos depending on the taste of the user. So for a certain extent it is true to keep the user glued to the screen and They will continuously show them videos depending to their taste. However, if underage people were to be exposed to the content that is not suitable for their age, like discriminating others and harassing hatred to one group of, depending on ethnicity, it would become a real problem that would be extremely hard to prevent. Therefore, the government should introduce rules to verify the age of the user and to work with the social media platforms in cooperation. in order to make the atmosphere more safer for every user.
