Yes, I think it can be a good idea to increase people’s awareness about important issues, for example, environmental issues which can pose serious risks to the people’s health. As almost most of us scientists these days are searching about these problems, this approach will encourage people to protect their planet as it will increase their knowledge about environments and it will increase trust between scientists and public because people will grasp the importance of scientific environment and they will try to inform decision making and help their planet.
