Despite the wide perception of higher education as indispensable for students in order to gain diverse qualifications, some people argue that it’s not quite essential and that’s an unvariety of counts. Firstly, there are quite several benefits of qualifications gained by staying at school until 18. For example, having a wealth of information regarding biology, for example, is a prerequisite to become a doctor, or internalizing every aspect regarding mass and mastering each skill in it is also an crucial factor that enables you to become an engineer. So it’s not quite optional for some people. That being said, other students don’t really aspire to become a doctor or engineer, or even those sort of of disciplines that acquire an academic knowledge. For example, becoming a hairdresser or a painter or even an artist don’t really require you to immerse yourself in your studies. And they won’t be of a great use. Use, nor could they be quite instrumental for them in the future. So, they take an alternative path which is dropping out of school before 18 and that could be quite wasteable for them. In conclusion, it’s still undeniable that education carries different privileges and gives the ones who complete their education a competitive advantage. However, it’s not really about how, normally about the path each student choose, but about how they work for their goals.
