Well, receiving a gift is something I love so much and makes me happy at the same time. It not only shows me my value, but also reflects the attention that somebody is giving me. On my 18th birthday, my father gave me a laptop that I had been craving. Originally, on my birthday, he threw a surprise party, and I didn't even know when he ordered that laptop for me. He always knew that I wanted a laptop, and he was trying to refuse all the time. But now it makes sense why he was lying to me; he wanted to give me a surprise. When he handed that gift to me after my birthday, it was wrapped. So, I just thought it was something like a photo frame. When I opened it, I was bombarded with all the feelings that had been building up inside me. I was surprised, but I was even happier. I showed all my gratitude to my father for giving me this gift. Having a laptop has always been on my bucket list, so my father completed my vision for that. Additionally, I realized this is the most expensive gift I have ever received. Yes, all in all, it was surprising, but I found great joy in receiving it.
