One toy that immediately comes to mind is a color disc called a kaleidoscope, which was easily my favorite toy throughout my childhood. I received it as a birthday present from my father when I turned four years old. What made it special wasn't just the toy itself, but the fact that it was a gift that showed a sign of genuine care. My grandfather knew exactly what toy I liked, so he spent quite a bit of time choosing for me the color kaleidoscope. Once a metallic cylinder landed with mirrors and filled with spangles and rotated, it created an array of mind-blowing symmetrical patterns. So however colors shifted, geometric shapes felt like absolute magic to a toddler. I was completely devoted to it and literally took it everywhere I went, even bedtime. And now I feel last-like nostalgic feelings. And it stands out from other toys, my kaleidoscope, and looking back, it was just a source of entertainment, but it actually sparked my early curiosity about science, optics, and art. It opened a whole world of imagination for me. Even today, said kaleidoscope holds immense sentimental value because it evokes fond memories of my childhood.
