I've been fascinated by the Tasmanian Tiger, and because it's like a dog with a boot. You know, it's really interesting to see how it's a marsupial and a medium-sized meat-eating mammal that lived on the island of Tasmania. It is said that it survived in some forms, and for the first time, I think it was a wolf or a dog or something when I heard about it from my history teacher. But it wasn't until two years ago that I got to know too much about it because I read an article about it, and the article fueled my interest further. So now I'm really into that animal. Anything related to that animal, its distinguishing feature is dark brown stripes beginning at the rear of the body and extending onto the tail. It's more closely related to kangaroos, I think, and the Tasmanian Tiger appeared to occupy most types of terrain. In terms of feeding, it's exclusively carnivorous and, as a hunter, it's not a fast runner. It probably catches its prey by exhausting it during a long pursuit. I also heard that it is more likely to rely on scent than any other sense during a hunt. Most Tasmanian Tigers emerged to hunt during the evening because I think it's a great way for them to channel their physical sight in the evening. Moreover, it's easier for them to catch their prey. They tend to retreat to hills and forests during the day. The Tiger has a breeding season from winter to spring. Newborns, like all marsupials, are tiny and hairless. They crawl into the pouch of their mother and attach themselves to one teat.
