Although I live abroad now, I come from a family with roots in Afghanistan. My father is from Laghman, and my mother is from Nangarhar. However, I actually belong to the Laman people, a special group who live in the north of Afghanistan. We speak a language called Pashto, which is one of the most widely spoken languages in Afghanistan. We identify as Pashtun. I have three brothers and two sisters. My father is a school teacher, and my mother is a housewife. So, that's a little bit about my family.
