First of all, it is, of course, a big experience when you are learning a new language. It's not just words; it's about recognizing and becoming familiar with a new culture and new people. You develop another personality, if I can say it like that. In my country, Kazakhstan, many people speak two languages, Kazakh and Russian. Also, I think it's a big plus to know many languages.
