I think to be a successful lawyer, you need to have great ethics, and you need to be a legal person who follows laws and regulations and doesn't go to the dark side, like supporting people who have made mistakes. Maybe reducing the rate of their crime will be helpful for them, but not fully, not for support. They need integrity and virtue to be successful lawyers. Successful lawyers are those who give their time to their job, so they need to appreciate what they are doing. That's the key behind their success.
