So one of the most obvious long-term consequences of relying heavily on automation in various industries is the environmental impact it creates on our everyday life. For example, in Makasar, a lot of people tend to opt for personal vehicles instead of relying on public transportation, which I personally kind of understand. However, we can see that it creates a disastrous impact on our environment. Each year, the summer seems to be getting hotter and hotter, and there seems to be less and less water available each summer.
