Firstly, I must tell you that I'm not too familiar with personalized learning technologies. But from what I know, these are devices designed to teach children in primary and secondary education to help them learn more effectively. I think everything that is personalized or tailored to one's preferences is always a good thing, and it will certainly help students learn more enjoyably. However, I think too much personalization will inhibit growth since we know that growth usually happens in difficult situations. Students must also learn to study in ways that they are not familiar with. So, I think both of these need to be considered, although I don't see any reason to avoid personalized learning technologies.
