Talking online is like you're talking alone, imagining you're talking with others since you're not actually facing them. Real social interaction, such as talking with another person face-to-face, is way different than just talking online. The increasing popularity of online communities will affect the way humans interact with each other since it is not a proper way of interacting. Interacting via the internet does not give you the pressure of talking, which can be beneficial for introverts. However, those who are more extroverted and open to others, and who easily talk with others, won't be affected by the increase in the popularity of online communities.
