There are quite a few consequences of relying entirely on social media rather than traditional journalism systems. The major one, I’d say, would be easily falling for fake or inaccurate information. Social media nowadays tends to release some fake statements in order to gain views and make money from them but sometimes it’s actually too much and a wide population of people believe in them and that’s one of the major consequences another would be relying on not entirely truthful and sometimes problematic news reporters on social media and it’s really better to follow traditional journalism because the news are carefully looked through by the government by companies and they are usually more accurate
