As far as I remember, we had a mix of universal history and my country's history. Basically, the semester was divided into parts. In the first part, we studied universal history, such as France and Germany, how different tribes were formed, and international wars like World War I and World War II. In the second part of the semester, we learned about our own history, our culture, and the wars our country fought to protect our integrity and peace.
