Well, in many cases, it depends on the child's personality because there are two types of children facing a challenge. Some may avoid confronting it and want to run away from the responsibility it entails. They don't want to come out of their comfort zones. Conversely, there are some children who are raised to face new things and experience new activities. They want to add to their skill sets by doing them. Besides, facing challenges fosters their confidence and can create a sense of responsibility for them.
