I believe that the past has an impact on the present. Most historical events have influenced us over time. In my opinion, all of our decisions shape our future in significant ways. I'm sure that everyone has the same example from their lives when a small decision turned everything upside down. Furthermore, we should learn from the mistakes made in the past.
