I think there is no perfect age for a kid to start learning to draw. Some kids might show interest as early as they are 2 or 3, just scribbling away with crayons while others might not really pick it up until they are a bit older, maybe around 5 or 6 when their motor skills are more developed than childhood. The key really is to foster that creativity and learn, let them explore it at their own pace, encouraging them to express themselves through drawing. At any age can be really beneficial, at age it can boost their imagination and help them to communicate their feelings.
