If you plan to travel around, I suggest going in summer because, personally, summer is the best season when you want to walk around the city. You don't need extra pieces of clothing, and you don't really need to worry about extreme climate change. Summer has good air conditions, and you can really enjoy the views. It's better to avoid winter if you want to travel around; otherwise, you won't be able to go anywhere in the city.
