A poor work-life balance has significant consequences for society. Individuals struggling with this imbalance often experience mental stress, impacting their ability to function effectively. This stress can lead to social isolation, as they may be less receptive to others and struggle to empathize with their feelings. This lack of connection and empathy hinders the essential social fabric of sharing joys and sorrows. Furthermore, individuals with poor work-life balance may be less engaged in community activities and initiatives aimed at improving society. Their focus often shifts inward, prioritizing personal needs over contributing to the collective well-being. This can result in a decline in social cohesion and a diminished sense of community responsibility.
