Well, there are two groups of people. The first group are always really into reading different kinds of books and novels because it's their habit. But the other group shows less enthusiasm for reading because it seems boring or an exhausting activity for them. They may tend to check online platforms and different pages, so they have less time to spend on reading. So this may be the reason.
