I think children mostly like imaginative and adventurous stories. They especially enjoy narratives with superheroes, talking animals, or magical elements like Harry Potter and fairy tales. Moreover, I believe they appreciate stories with moral lessons because they can easily connect with them. When adults, parents, or teachers tell these stories, they can hold children's attention during storytelling, especially since adults have less time for children.
