As far as topics we should avoid during our first meeting are concerned, I think private matters should be considered as one. Since it’s the first encounter, it’s not polite to ask about something really intimate, as there should be some room for further exploration into others’ lives. If people ask too much about someone’s private life, it’ll be regarded as rude behaviour and may even trigger severe consequences, such as the person declining, deciding not to meet them again. Another important reminder is that people should avoid using profanity, because through such language, the other person may perceive them as not worth interacting with. Therefore, people should definitely try to avoid such behaviours to leave a better impression on others.
