Band 5+: what was your favorite food when you was a child?

Your pronunciation is above average. However, you may find complexity in certain words challenging. Regular practice should aid in improvement.

The answer does not directly address the question about childhood favourite food; it focuses on current preferences. To improve, clearly state what your favourite food was as a child and provide specific details about that time.

The answer is generally coherent but contains some repetition and self-correction ('it doesn't have many and it doesn't dirty'). The response could be more logically structured, e.g., by clearly stating the favourite food first and then explaining why. To improve, practice speaking without hesitation and organize ideas before speaking.

Vocabulary is adequate but not highly precise. 'Keen on' is good, but 'extremely delicious' is a bit informal. 'Papaya chicken' is unclear; perhaps 'chicken papaya soup' or similar. To improve, use more specific and varied vocabulary, e.g., 'crispy fried chicken' or 'tender meat'.

There are grammatical errors: 'when you was' should be 'when you were' (but the question has this error, so the student's answer is acceptable in that regard). However, 'it doesn't have many and it doesn't dirty' is ungrammatical; should be 'it doesn't have many bones and it isn't dirty'. Also, 'eat together' is a fragment. To improve, practice using correct verb tenses and complete sentences.
