I think children start to have their own opinions at a very young age, probably around the age of 3 or 4. At this stage, they begin to express their likes and dislikes, such as choosing their favorite toys or foods. However, their opinions are mostly influenced by their parents and surroundings. As they grow older, especially around the age of 7 or 8, they become more independent in their thinking. They start questioning things and forming their own ideas based on what they see and experience. For example, a child might develop strong opinions about school subjects, deciding that they enjoy science more than math. In particular, teenagers develop strong opinions because they are exposed to new information through school, social media, and friends. They begin to challenge rules, discuss social issues, and make decisions that reflect their personal values. Overall, young children start forming basic opinions early on, while real independent thinking develops more in later childhood.
