In my country, people are used to learning new skills in school because nowadays there is a unique curriculum where the government includes playing traditional instruments or performing in front of a large audience, skills like arts and crafts. Most of these are taught in school for teenagers who want to find their favorite medium and the particular field where they excel. It becomes really ubiquitous in our schools and is beneficial for people, as they don't have to spend money on extra classes if they want to excel and become an amateur.
