Well, it really depends on the setting. Currently living here in Tashkent, I don't keep any pets at all, as it wouldn't be fair to them in an apartment. However, back at our country house, we'd definitely keep them outdoors. To be fair, our pets aren't the fancy or pampered kinds. They are just ordinary, hardy animals that enjoy the open space. That said, we do tend to make an exception for the cats and let them sleep indoors whenever they feel like it.
