Honestly, for me, the safest means of transport is the public bus. Mainly because, as a woman, I don't feel comfortable traveling alone in an Uber or other means of transport. I just don't find it safe to travel alone. But if you are in a crowd, you can handle things more easily, and you will feel safer. So that's why I prefer public transport, specifically buses, over traveling alone.
