As I said, nowadays people spend most of their time with either family members or friends. It depends on the person, but I think that the majority of young people spend most of their time with their friends, like university mates or others, because it's more interesting for them and they have a lot in common. For older people, I think they spend most of their time with family members because they trust them more than friends and have more activities to do together, like planting trees, vegetables, and fruits in their garden, for example, or watching TV and discussing programs. Sometimes, I think it can be either with friends or family members.
