I think the reason children choose different friends as they get older is that their way of thinking changes. The more they grow up, the more mature they become, and the more clearly they think in a different way. It's not the same as their young, innocent minds. Now they understand what a person actually is, which is why they have different kinds of friends. They may also have different interests, like maybe they love something the other person doesn't. So yes.

I think the reason why children choose different friends when they get older because the way of their thinking just change. You know, the more they grow up, the more mature they are, the more they think clearly and they think in a different way. It’s not the same as their young innocent minds. Right now they know what the person actually is, so that’s why they have different kind of friends. Because they may also have different kind of major, like maybe they love something the other person doesn’t. So yes.
