I can give an example of my friend who is fond of exploring extreme environments. She's a risk-taker at work, and I believe that in those extreme environments, you also have to take risks because you never know what might happen during your journey. This person also enjoys the unpredictable nature of these places. In those conditions, plant and animal life can be unpredictable. Maybe people love to discover such places because of their picturesque landscapes. Perhaps these places are peaceful and serene. There are many reasons why people are drawn to extreme environments.
