Well, I think it depends on personality. Some people don't make plans because they would like to go with the flow and enjoy a more flexible lifestyle. For example, they find plans too limiting, so they prefer to feel comfortable and not prepare for any surprises. However, others need structure, which makes them feel secure and reduces the risk.
