I don't think that having a few friends will limit our horizons because, in some cases, having close friends can provide short-term benefits. So, why deny that having many friends allows us to be exposed to more individuals? We can gain a better understanding of our true friends and have more opportunities for deep connections. We can also gain a better understanding of ourselves, which enhances our relationships. However, if we have a few friends, we can still be exposed to many individuals.
