I first learned about solar energy from my wealthy neighbors who installed solar panels on their roofs. At first, I thought it was a great idea, but when I learned how expensive it was, I realized it wasn’t affordable for original families. That made me question, is solar energy truly practical for everyone? Solar energy works by capturing sunlight with panels and turning it into electricity. This can power lights, fans and more. In Vietnam, solar energy is commonly used in sunny areas. You can see panels on rooftops or in solar farms. In my opinion, the biggest disadvantage is that it depends completely on the weather. On cloudy days or at night, it cannot generate electricity. Also, as I mentioned, the high cost makes it hard for ordinary people to afford. So while solar energy is clean and renewable, it is not a perfect solution yet. What we can learn is that we need better battery technology to store electricity for use when the sun isn’t shining. We also need government support to make solar panels cheaper. If we solve these challenges, solar energy can truly become the future of clean power.
