Do you believe that governments should prioritize funding for basic research or applied research?

So I think the state should prioritize funding for basic research, especially involving the humanities. Rather than just high-level research that is not necessary for our society, the government should focus on funding improvements in areas like traffic transport and other aspects related to the human experience. I believe this is important for our development.
