Do you think charities should be exempted from tax?

I completely agree with the idea that charities should be exempt from all taxes because they serve society and provide people with financial and humanitarian support. That's why I think the government, instead of taxing charitable organizations, should fund them with money because sometimes profitable organizations mainly tackle these financial issues.
