Well, in my opinion, yes, definitely because cities are becoming noisier, mainly because of overpopulation as a lot of people are moving to the cities for better job opportunities or education. As a result, there are more cars, there are more people, and it's so loud, which is why they are becoming noisier.

I think cities are becoming noisier, despite advancements in technology. For example, cars today are much louder than in the past, and this contributes to the overall noise level. It's hard to imagine a city becoming quieter with all the traffic and construction.
