Of course they have helped. Last year it was my brother's winning ceremony, and we were very short-handed with a lot of work pending. My neighbors stepped up and helped me and my family sort out everything needed for the ceremony. I was very overwhelmed by their support.
If I remember, they sometimes help me with little issues, like opening the door or asking me about something. They just talk with me, and I think that is the best help for neighbors because they create the best mood for me.
