How is the way your national celebrations are celebrated now different from the way they were celebrated in the past?

There are no significant differences between the past and the present, but the main differences stem from the technological developments that have occurred since previous centuries. Now, on national celebration days, people use planes and cars, but in the past, they didn't exist and therefore couldn't be used in those events.
