Should factories be punished for polluting the environment?

Absolutely. I think factories should face the consequences of their actions harming the environment. If there aren't any strict regulations set by the government for big factories polluting the atmosphere by emitting harmful gases, then there will not be any corporate responsibility, and we might fail to make a positive change for our Mother Earth.
