People might not like going to parties for a variety of reasons, such as being introverted, feeling uncomfortable in large crowds, disliking loud noise, having social anxiety, not enjoying small talk, preferring smaller group interactions, not wanting to drink alcohol, or simply not finding the party atmosphere appealing.
Well, I think it's because they are introverted people. They don't like to be in big crowds and maybe they prefer smaller gatherings than parties. For example, with their family, their host family, or extended family, or they just prefer, honestly, gatherings with their close friends.
