Well, it might depend on the perspective of the individuals. Some might have a sense of accomplishment after performing their jobs well, even though it might sound and be tougher. Or, there may be financial incentives involved in those difficult jobs, which could be quite higher than those of regular ones.
I feel people choose difficult jobs either because they are actually interested in them and like that work, or they see an advantage in those jobs.
