Will people use bikes more or less in cities in the future?

I believe that in the future, people will definitely gravitate towards bicycles in urban areas. With increasing worries about pollution and traffic congestion, many cities are pouring resources into bike lanes and facilities, making it easier for everyone to opt for cycling as their preferred mode of transport.
