The table illustrates the Internet usage in six categories such as email use, online gaming, downloading music and videos, travel reservations, online purchase and searching for people among various age groups.
Overall, according to the table, email usage was the leader activity among all age groups.
It can be seen that more than 90% individuals of all ages use the Internet to check email. Online gaming was popular among teens and 20-year old people, accounting 80% and 88% ,respectively, while the trend among elder people declined more than a half and fluctuated between 36% and 20%. In addition, the same downward trend exhibited in downloading music and video games, starting from 52% among teens and dropped to just 6% among 70-year old people and elder.
By contrast, the Internet use for travel reservations made up 0% for teens, although the figures for elder people increased, accounting at least 51% among 20s and the highest percentage for 30-years old individuals at 74%. Moreover, searching people in the Internet was popular only among elder people, making up a one third, while this Internet activity was much less popular among teenagers. Online purchase was popular among all age brackets, fluctuating between 39% for teens to just 69% for 30s.
