Dear Chris,

Thank you for inviting me to visit! I am excited to be coming over, especially during Christmas, one of the most wonderful times of the year, and I am sure we will have an amazing time celebrating, and visiting our other friends, when I arrive.

Since it is my first time traveling to your country, I think it will be a good idea to carefully plan my journey, with your help, of course, to avoid any problems during my trip. Firstly, I would like to know your thoughts on what kinds of gifts to get for your parents and siblings so that I can buy them here, in Nigeria, before I leave.

In addition, I would like to know what kind of activities you are planning for us, to allow me pack clothing that best suit each ocassion. You may also recall that I am a picky eater, therefore, I would like to have an idea of the kinds of food that are available, over there, to aid my planning.

I hope to hear from you soon, and cannot wait to see you in person.
