According to information from the graph, there is a reduction in the number of accidents per kilometer in Bridgewater on every road that is associated with the introduction of extra lanes. As is displayed in the chart, roads M2 and M5 used to have the biggest amount of accidents before the creation of new lanes—about 17 per kilometer.
On the other hand, roads M3 and M4 seem to have had much less car crashes—not exceeding 8 crashes per kilometer.
The information from the pie chart shows that the most significant decline in the number of accidents, roughly more than a half, can be seen on roads M5, M1, and M4. Summing up, they cut off more than 23 car accidents per kilometer.
Conversely, the M2 road showed the lowest decline in car crashes—only 2 cases per kilometer. Even though the M3 road had the same drop, in the context of its previous amount of accidents, it is a half reduction.
