The line graph provides results from a research conducted on the reasons for immigration into a country from 2000-2015 and the number of immigrants.
Overall, it was observed that search for jobs accounts largely for relocation. Although, study and family are reasons why people would move to a different location. Adventure is least likely to be one of those.
Employment is considered a major reason for relocation. In fact,it was observed that the number of persons that relocated due to search for better jobs opportunities increased sharply from 60,000 in 2000 to over 80,000 in 2005. After this period, there was a moderate increase between 2005 to 2010 as the figure increased by almost 10,000 and then decreased gradually to almost 90,000 in 2015.
Unlike employment opportunities, study was observed to be the least reasons why people would move to another country. Throughout the period it stayed within 10,0000. Similarly, family/friends received little consideration as a rationale for relocating. Moreover, education was considered the second main reason why people moved into another country. In 2000,over 20,000 people relocated and by 2005 the figure doubled. Even though, a gradual increase was recorded from 2005 to 2010.it still peaked at 2015 with almost 90,000 people.
