Overall, sodium and saturated fats are mostly consumed in dinner, while added sugars are the most preferred in snacks.
In details, sodium has the predominant percentage in dinner, accounting for 43%. It is followed by lunch meal, making up 29%. Surprisingly, people consume the same proportion of sodium in snacks and breakfast, at 14%. Similarly, saturated fats are the most notable contributor for dinner meals, with 37%. When comes to lunch and snacks, these shares decrease to 26% and 21%, respectively. Breakfast also is the meal that saturated fat is the least consumed.
