As the chart below illustrates information about four different dairy products namely, milk, cheese, butter and milk powder produce by various countries. Overall it can be noticed that, European Union is the biggest producer of milk and cheese, while, India produce the most of butter among all countries followed by China who produce milk powder more than other countries.
Firstly, European Union produce 142,970 metric tons of Milk and 7120 kg of cheese in 2012, while India being the second largest producer of milk in world along with largest producer of butter with 7500 kg, respectively. However, USA is the third largest producer of milk with over 90,038 tons and 4925 kg of cheese in world.
In case of butter, European Union and USA produce least amount of Butter compared to other countries. Additionally, China is the largest producer of milk powder, while New Zealand holding second position producing over with 1110 kg of milk powder, similarly European Union produce only 770 kg in a span of year
