Dear Mr. Smith,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this regarding our conversation about a chef position at your restaurant.
Firstly, I hope you remember about our pleasant chat during the flight from Malaysia on Singapore airlines on July 23rd. We were sitting next to each other and you suggested that I should contact you later about a job opening at one of your restaurants.
As I mentioned on the flight, I am a chef and I would like to apply to the pastry chef position at your newly opened branch in Singapore.
I believe I should be a great fit for this role based on my past 5 years’ experience at a French restaurant in Canada. I was concentrating on pastries and cakes while I was working there and able to create some new innovative recipes that went popular among the Canadians. Moreover, I am also very good with cake designing and dealing with the customers as well.
Thank you for your consideration and time and I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
Tom C
